This includes deaths outside of the Theatre of Action, outside of Iraq, and deaths from accidents and mechanical failures.

In fact, it is safer to live in Baghdad right now, than it is lo live in Chicago.

Will there still be deaths? Yes, and some of them will come in combat. Remember, that some members of the Japanese Imperial Army and Navy where still fighting WWII into their old age.

While the deaths of US Soldiers is a tragedy, the more so after the war is actually over, the continued presence of Soldiers in Iraq means one very simple thing.

We learned from our failure at the end of Charlie Wilson's War, and we are not going to fuck up this end game.

Thank you to all those who have served, and my prayers for all who have died. And yes, he does fit the profile we have seen so far. He spoke out against Putin. It is kinda scary to watch the KGB thug kill people who stand in his way. The KGB is kinda like Eagle Scouts or the Marine Corps in one very important respect, once a member ALWAYS a member.

On the Chinese Front. Woo Hoo for Freedom of Speech violations. It would seem that China is going to war with Internet News. That's right, the Propaganda Ministry is hatching a plan to combat Internet News. But they are doing it in a strange method. Instead of HIDING the news until they feel that it is time to report on it and spinning it the way they want, they will report it as it happens, and then revising the coverage to as the events un fold and pretend it has always been the way they report it.

Propaganda Chief Li Changchun, in fear that the Ministry will lose control over Information in China stated, "Let us use the method of providing news as the way to control news." Wow, they are controlling the news!? Shocking. *rolls eyes* The faces change, but the facts seem to stay the same.

The Times Online quoted an unamed source (smart man, not giving his name in Bloody China) had this to say on the matter.

The new approach is aimed at ensuring that ultimate control of at least the most sensitive information remains in party hands. The source told The Times: “The principle is to report an incident as soon as possible without the need to inform the leaders in advance.”

Already this has streamlined official reporting of some events.

In the past, major news would be allowed into the public eye only after careful vetting by senior officials. The source said: “In the past, when something happened the usual practice was that a senior person would hold off and say he would report to the leadership. And once something was reported to the leadership then they would issue an order for a media blackout.”

They also said that they withold information that might prove incindiary. Really? They are afraid of Unrest? Well, that doesn't make any sense. After all, the people of China love the government right?

Yeah, they do. As much as the people of Iraq loved Saddam Hussein or the people of Russia loved Stalin. Love him or have your arms sawed off. [/hyperoble]

China is sitting atop a powder keg. It is why their military Districts are all internal, and up until recently, most of their personell have been trained in how to put down uprisings and peaceful protests (emphasis on the Protests if Tianmen Square is any indication).

The Times online had a list of soem of the best (read worst) violations of trust by the official media.

— It took China 18 years before it broke its silence to reveal that 694 people – including 597 children – had died in a Chinese New Year’s Day inferno in a crowded cinema in 1977. There was no explanation for the delay in the news

— In 1975, 62 dams in central Henan province crumbled over the course of three days or were intentionally destroyed amid record rainfall, killing at least 175,000 people in the worst such recorded disaster in history. Government figures were declassified only in 2005

— The extent of the 2003 outbreak of Sars, right, was originally underreported. The Chinese Government was eventually forced to release accurate figures only after a Chinese doctor blew the whistle

— Chinese officials paid high sums in compensation to families of workers who died during the building of the Bird’s Nest Stadium to ensure their silence. China admitted the deaths of two workers only after a report by The Sunday Times in January of this year

— The Government was slow to respond to contamination of milk that led to the deaths of at least four infants and the hospitalisation of 12,892. It admitted partial guilt in October and arrested 36 manufacturers

More on these can be found ont he Times Online story here.

Also, there was a riot in Northwest China. Not much ont he story, but I bet they will be crackign down even more. This is China after all. The circumstances that sparked it kind of reminds me of Eminent Domain for some reason...

Oh, and Breitbart had this choice piece of information on a story about an Activist who is having her residence demolished out from under her. Makes my comments about Property Rights being the most neccessary and basic of all Individual Rights more relevant eh?

As all land belongs to the state in China, local officials enjoy immense powers to determine land-use rights, and critics say residents and farmers are often forcefully evicted in shady deals between the government and developers

The KGB is Back in town, and just as bad as ever

Well folks, if you are in Russia, say goodbye to any liberties you MIGHT have had. Medvedev, acting on the orders of Putin no doubt, has ordered their internal police to strike down dissent.

Citing the economic crisis, he has stated that his law enforcement should strike down on any group that protests publicly against the government. I expect that the Ultranationalists and the Communist Diehards will not be struck down there, as Putin seems to want to brign back their ideals.

Time will tell, but one thing is for sure.

The KGB is back, baby, and the reporters need to head for the doors. And Syria couldn't be happier. If you are wondering what I am talking about, read on.

I have a soft spot in my heart for Lebanon. Not as soft as Israel when it comes to the Middle East, but it is still a soft spot. Why such a soft spot? Because until we kicked out Saddam Hussein and gave Iraq a real democracy, the only other Arab Democracy in the Middle East was Egypt, and Egypt had a habit of kicking their Christians when they where down.

Lebanon on the other hand, had a 40% Christian Population and a 2% Jewish Population, and treated them well. Freedom of religion was very important to them. In fact, they where behind only Israel in terms of numbers of Foreign Inhabitants.

They have had their problems, with Muslim on Christian civil wars, sparked by refugees fleeing the Jordanian Occupation of the West Bank after the Seven Days War. The PLO set down roots in Lebanon during this time, and used it as a launching point to attack Israeli forces in the Golan Heights, and eventually led to the creation of the Pro-Syrian Terrorist Organization, Hezbollah.

For a long time now, Lebanon has been a vassal. A virtual slave state of Syria. However, that began to change with the Cedar Revolution. Following the assassination of Rafiq Bahaa El Deen Al-Hariri, an anti-Syrian leader in Lebanon, the people of Lebanon began to do everythign they could to throw off the bonds of Syrian Control and gain their freedom.

Now, Syria is massing troops on the border with Lebanon, and war seems imminent. I urge Israel to stand with Lebanon, and call on Egypt to stand beside both of them. Syria is a threat to peace, and has been funelling funds and weapons to Hezbollah. The best thing that could happen to the Middle East right now would be to see Afghanistan, Iraq, Lebanon, and Egypt to become true Democracies and to stand beside Israel in times of conflict and across the table in opposition in times of peace.

I can hope and dream for this day of peace. I understand it is a logn way from coming true, but it is on the horizon, and the first steps will be for Israel and Egypt to stand with Lebanon, and create a union of Democracies in the Middle East.

Only time will tell.

Zimbabwe: A Problem and Solutions

Mugabe, Democratically Elected or a Self-Made Tyrant? It is a question that needs answering. Though opinions differ from place to place, the general concensus is that there is a problem in Zimbabwe that needs a solution. But first, we need to define the nation and what kind of government it has.

Ian Bremmer, author of The J-Curve, places the Republic of Zimbabwe in the category of Closed Stability. This is a dangerous position to be in. Should outside influence seep in, then the entire nation could collapse into instability where it will either be destroyed the way that Yugoslavia was, or it will survive the way South Africa was able to do.

However, with the increasing amounts of Human Rights Violations in Zimbabwe, a change will come. The problem is, that if the change is not timed right, then the nation will collapse.

In a nation categorised as Closed Stability, the government and nation are held together through force, both of Charisma and Strength, by the leader of the nation. This necessitates it being a Fear Society.

The Concept of Free vs. Fear Societies was explored by Natan Sharansky in his book, The Case for Democracy. In it,he described Fear Societies as those that fail the "Town Square Test." The "Town Square Test" is a very simple one. Go out into the town square, and express your opinions and beliefs. If you are beaten down and oppressed for stating an opinion contrary to the government, you live in a Fear Society.

Thus, we have a dangerous situation in Zimbabwe. For a Fear Society to remain stable, they must have an enemy that allows them to remain closed. Though the United States has provided that enemy to Cuba and North Korea, cracks are showing there to indicate our continuing pressure on the government is working.

However, there is no such activity in and around Zimbabwe. Though we give aid to the people of Zimbabwe, we have not put any real pressure on Mugabe to change. Thus, he is able to name a successor who will continue to run the government the way that Mugabe wants it run, which will see further Human Rights abuses until critical mass is reached.

While our Food Aid to the starving people of Zimbabwe is all well and good, there is more we can do. These unarmed aid runs are vulnerable to the military forces of the nation. There is a solution though.

Armed Food Runs. During Operation Restore Hope, whose sub-operation, Gothic Serpent, was the subject of the Blockbuster Black Hawk Down, US Special Forces sent in to escort the food shipments where force to sit and watch as Technicals operated by forces loyal to Aidid shot and killed food distrubuters and seized UN Food shipments.

Thus, a new Paradigm must be put into place. The government need to use Armed Escorts of Food Aid into Zimbabwe, and authorize the gunners of Balckhawk Helicopters to fire on any who would fire on the distributors and victims. We can park a Nimitz Class Air Craft Carrier off the coast of Africa, and use the Sea King, and SH-60 Sea Hawks to run food and medicine to the people.

This can be done all over Africa, and thus, we can help the people rise up non-violently, and create the institutions that allow for long term stability within a nation. The days of Monarchies and Dictatorships is over. With the Freedom of Information available to the world these days, closed societies are doomed to failure. Thus, we must do what we can to change them from Closed to open, and try to maintain their stability in the process.

The United States is already trying that through the Western Hemisphere Institute for Security Cooperation, formerly the School Of Americas, and we can do it here too.

Next, I will discuss the SOA, and the myths that surround the school.

I would like to start this blog by commending the protesters across the route of the torch for making their voice heard, and special kudos to those protesters in Paris who doused the Olympic Flame thrice during the run. Despite the paramilitary thugs who have been "Guarding the Torch," the pc term for manhandling any and all protesters away from the cameras in a try to silence all opposition, these protesters have been doing everything they can to show the world that the IOC made a huge mistake in sending the games to China.

This is not the first time they have done something this stupid. the first example being the 1936 Olympics in Germany during the height of NAZI rule, and the second being the 1980 Olympics in Moscow. Why where these mistakes? Because both times they were placed in an Oppressive Regimes. The United States did the right thing when they boycotted the 1980 Olympics, and I urge them to do so again. Germany is already considering doing that, and nations all across The Continent, are going to be boycotting the Opening Ceremony.

China has a horrible Human Rights Record, and with the entirety of the world stage turned to look at China, I hope that those going to them do everything they can to highligh the Chinese Human Rights Record, hopefully including the Tibetan and Taiwanese flags in their processions if possible.

From here on out, the IOC needs to take into account the current Human Rights record of a nation when they place the Olympics, and need to look to Brazil, Spain, Portugal, South Africa, Japan, South Korea, New Zealand, France, Germany, Greenland, etc. These nations have shown them selves to be upright citizens of the world, and are worthy of hosting the Olympics.

Oh, and that nonsense by Iran of not allowing them to compete with Israeli athletes, if you are so much better, then prove it by meeting them on the field.

Protesting China's Hosting of Olympics

In San Francisco today, Tibetan immigrants made the city a center of Protest against the People's Republic's continuing domination of their nation, and the on-going torture being used in China on any and all who disagree with the government.

The protesters called on the mayor of San Francisco to reject the carrying of the Olympic Torch through the city due to the nation's use of torture. Why? Because her building had lost power, and thus internet, and they had to go to the Starbucks to work.

Now for the most ludicrous story of all. A young woman is going to be put to death for being in the car of a male who was not her family while sexual intercourse occured. Normally, this would only be a life sentence. But because there where five other men in the vehicle, she is going to be put to death. For those wondering, she was assaulted, bound, and raped in that car.

Saudi Arabia needs to get it's head otu fo the ground, because the only reason they have any support is that the World needs their fuel. Currently, the Democratic Party seems to be taking a "The Devil We Know..." stance on the dictatorships of the world. For the past few weeks, Bhuddist monks have been leading protests against the Military Junta currently occupying the Nation's capital.

Well, those protests have turned violent, as the Junta fired shots into a crowd of protestors in the capital. The government has claimed only one death, while the Protestors say that there has been eight.

I know who I am going to believe in this.

For all of you wondering, "What can I do?" the answer is sadly not much.

My suggestion would be to encourage your Senators and Congressmen to send a resolution condmening the acts, and begin to demand a boycott/sanctions system on both Burma and China.

Why China? Because while the corrupt Libyan led Human Rights Comission may be full of the worst scum in the world in terms of HR Abuses, even they have passed resolutions calling for sanctions against the Junta. Only the People's Republic has been able to block these moves.

The best answer to this would be for the UN to recognize the Republic of China as the Republic of Taiwan, and give the Security Council seat back to the government to which it was named in the original UN charter. This way, only Russia will be there to obstruct the path of Democracy and Peace, and there are ways to bypass them and pressure the government into reform.

So people, readers, friends, please do all you can to stop these abuses and bring democracy into our world, write your Senators, your Congressmen, even the President.

Even contact the leaders of the International Democratic Union or G8, the numerous Christian Democrats in this Political Union would be glad to support sanctions on the Human Rights Abusers around the world.

The IDU consists of:
The Liberal Party of Australia
The Austrian People's Party
National Independence Party of Azerbaijan
Union of Democratic Forces (Bulgaria)
Conservative Party of Canada
The Chinese Natioanlist Party (KMT) (Needs to be replaced by Pan-Green's Head Party)
Chiles Indpendent Democratic Union and National Renewal Party
Conservative Party of Columbia
Croation Democratic Party
Democratic Rally (Cyprus)
The Civic Democratic Party in the Czech Republic
Germany's Christian Democrat Party and Christian Social Union
Conservative and Unionist Party in Great Britain
and the American Republican Party to name a few

There will be more on the International Democratic Union in my next post, along with my suggestions on how to change it for the better.

Right to Drive

Well my friends, among the pictures of civil rights leaders that I have in my bedroom, a new one is going up. This is the picture of Fowziyah al-Oyouni, one of the founding members of the Saudi organization, the Committee of Demanders of Women's Right to Drive Cars. Long title, but an organization that needs all the support we can give it.

That is right, currently, the only nation with Religously segregated roads between Muslims and Non-Muslims does not allow their female citizens, or residents as some call them, to drive themselves around the city.

On average, a Saudi Family has to spend $300-$400 dollars a month to hire a live in male driver for the purpose of driving a car with blacked out windows so that the woman won't get "Exposed to temptation" according to some Sheiks.

For those families that cannot afford a live-in family, in other words most families, the women have to find a male relative of legal driving age who can drive them around.

If they cannot, then the shopping won't get done, the girls won't be able to go to school, and the teenagers will be stuck at home complaining.

But now, several women's rights organizations have come together and are going to be presenting the king with a formal petition by Sunday, the kingdom's national day.

But, it won't be easy.

Two years ago, Mohammed al-Zufa, a member of the unelected Consultative Council, suggested allowing women over the age of 35 to drive. His comment was met with calls to strip him of his citizenship in The Kingdom, and accusations that he was trying to convince women to discard their veils and mix around with women.

<sarcasm> Egads, we can't have that. It will lead to the breakdown of society </sarcasm>

Please.

People, friends, countrymen, people who read to much Shakespeare, please send letters to the King of Saudi Arabia, and ask him to allow his people to pursue a right that is granted to every other woman in the world. Or, if you are on Facebook, join the soon to be formed cause, Americans for the Rights of Muslim Women. All you will have to do is read tomorrow's post on "Honor Killings," an you will be begging to join.

The War, and Why we must Stay Part II

Well, My friend over at Where's th Humanity has posted the next part in his response, and seeing as you are either reading my Foreign Policy or my Military/Defense Blog, then this is the place where you can find my response.

19. I could not agree with you more on this point. Under the theory of Free Trade, every nation in the marketplace deserves to receive equal treatment in the market place unless they are being sanctioned for the purpose of reversing some heinous crime. Therefore, the United States should be bidding for that oil alongside everyone else, and should NOT be receiving any added benefits of this war.

We entered there to remove a genocidal despot who had used VX nerve gas on his own people, and who was hiding his Chemical Weapons Laboratories in trucks that where roaming Baghdad's streets. We went into Iraq for the purpose of creating a democracy in the Middle East, and creating stability in the region. We have partially succeeded, but this discount oil thing is a scheme from Hell and should be stopped.

20. Then lets try and put this into the hands of the marketplace. If a government is failing to do something this vital, then we should try to find someone else who will be able to do it, and the only place to look right now is the marketplace.

21. Apologize to the people we have hurt, yes. But not everybody is so innocent. Many, if not most, of the people we have captured in Iraq are foreign terrorists who came into Iraq because some sheik said it was the new battleground of the "Holy Jihad." Most of the people we are fighting against are members of a brainwashing cult that has been raising them since birth to believe that America is the "Great Satan" and the they should "Martyr themselves" to deal us a blow.

As for the world, I have to answers to that. 1. We have been flipping the world the bird since our birth in 1776, and 2. when we went in, we were very vocal about the fact that we were enforcing the UN resolution 1441, which stated un-equivocally that if the UN did not see real step toward Disarmament, then the members of the Security Council had the full rights to go in, disarm the nation, and remove Saddam Hussein from Power. We where within our full and legal rights goign into this war.

More on the Mobile Weapons labs, WMD's, and the Nerve Gas Atrocity on Arming Liberty tomorrow.

And, in relation to what Sir Knightly said about Bush's address, lets look at what he was saying from the beginning of the Surge.

1. This was going to be a large, short-term surge in troop levels that would result in higher amounts of troops in the long term than pre-surge levels

2. The Surge was designed to show the forces of Fear and Tyranny in Iraq that we have the ability to swamp them with our forces

3. The Surge is meant to be the first step to fully ensuring the democracy and freedom of the region.

Right now, the terrorists are flooding into Iraq because their Sheiks recognize one very important thing. IF Iraq "Falls" into the hands of Freedom, then the control of the current Islamo-Fascist governments across the Middle East will also collapse, and the major source of instability, the very governments of the Middle East themselves, will be no more, replaced with Democracies, where the people can come and petition the governments about their grievances, and do have to resort to indiscriminant bombings to make their voices heard.

While the "Occupation" may cause a short term spike in the number of deaths around the Middle East, a precipitous withdrawal would create a large slope of casualties as first Iraq, and then its neighbors fell into Anarchy.

Please, give long term peace a chance.

The War, And Why we Must Stay (Re-posted from Climate Heretic)

Recently, a friend and fellow Boy Scout posted a four part story about withdrawing from the Iraq War over at http://hopeforhumanity.blogspot.com/. However, as I disagree with him about the withdrawal, I will explain why we CAN NOT leave, and the ramifications of doing so. Sorry man, but these things need to be said.

I will say that I agree with him on one major point. That it is the right of the Iraqi people to govern themselves. However, at the same time, we have to understand that for them to maintain that right, the United States MUST stay in Iraq.

My colleague has argued that the concept of Democracy is an Alien one to the people of the Middle East outside of Israel. To this I must disagree.

Currently, Saudi Arabia is one of the largest sources of Terrorists and fighters in Iraq. Why is this? Why is it that a Dictatorial Regime that we are propping up is responsible for the most rouge fighters in the central battleground of the War on Terror?

Oh wait, I answered my own question. The reason that most of these people come from Saudi Arabia is because it is one of a very small number of Fear Societies that the US is propping up. The more we do so, the more of an enemy we seem to the people of that nation. The best thing we can do in that situation is to begin to press for freedom and democracy within the nation. Though we are dependent on Saudi Oil, Saudi Arabia is dependent on American Gasoline. And all we have to do is begin to put pressure on them economically, and the terrorists begin to lose.

Now, onto his points.
1: Staying in Iraq is, sadly, the only option: This is because as of right this moment, the Iraqi people are not ready to take over all of their defense priorities themselves. While the British have had some successes in and around their areas, the US is a major player, and a higher priority in this war. Also, currently, the fact that American Soldiers are there is one of the few things that have gotten the Sheiks of Al-Anbar province to turn on Al-Qaeda, who have been acting out of Al-Anbar since they first moved in. If we leave, then Iraq will descend into a level of anarchy not seen since Mogadishu. While we might not be a Stabilizing Presence, we have at least consolidated Iraq into two main camps. Those who support freedom, and those who are seeking political power.

Also, contrary to what Sir Knightly would have you believe, there have always been Terrorists in Iraq. Many Terrorists have used the nation as a staging and training ground. Also, while Saddam might not have had a direct role in the attacks six years ago Tuesday, the 9/11 Commission did find evidence of Saddam funneling money into terrorist groups and hiring terrorists to go and try to assassinate three different presidents. In fact, when Clinton bombed Baghdad, he did so with intel that said that bin Laden was in the city. Sadly, he failed in so very many ways over the years when it comes to Terrorism.

And no, the Terrorists are not on the side of the Iraqi's. Many claims have been made otherwise, but it is not true. If the Terrorists win, we will see a massive death toll as the civilization collapses in a way that would make Post-War Vietnam look like the St. Valentine's Day Massacre. Once we are gone, the Mahdi Army, Al-Qaeda, the Northern Alliance, every single faction will fight against each other to gain dominance, and we will see either a second Afghanistan or a second Somalia. Neither of which bodes well for the United States, as both have been used by Al-Qaeda forces, and bodes even worse for the people as they are subjected to either the deathly restrictive Shariah Law or Institutionalized Anarchy. This is the lesson of History.

2: Currently, the United States is acting ONLY in conjunction with Iraqi Forces or at the request/permission of its government. Ever since the Iraqi Government has been set up, the United States Army and United States Marine Corps have moved into a support role, and only acting with the express permission of the government. In the rare occasions where independent action is necessary, the Iraqi Government has given them the go ahead and not done anything.

Only Logistics Missions, such as delivering blankets and food, or Engineering Missions, mainly building soccer fields for the kids and adults, are done independently, and that is because they are not Combat Missions. Even Convoy Duty is being done in Conjunction with Iraqi Forces.

3: He mentions the ethnic and cultural divides in the nation, ones created by Great Britain following WWI, when they carved up the Middle East. Thus proving that there is nothing more dangerous than a Bureaucrat or a Politician with a Pencil and a Map.

As for the Police Force, we are, as we speak, building just such a force. However, these are popular targets by the Terrorists as the uniforms allow them to move around without hassle. And the problem is not the ethnic divide, but rather the lack of outreach by the government to the minority Shi'ite and Kurd populations.

4: NO! the people caught in arms in Iraq and sent to Club Gitmo where caught in direct violation of the Geneva Conventions, and have been housed in the Island because if released, they would attack the United States and seek to replace the Government in Iraq with a Fear Society.

5: Portal Iraq is a little known website that serves as the English-Language Newswire for Iraq. It is mainly the economic side of the situation, but sometimes speaks on security.

Reading the website and its stories, I have come to a different conclusion. One of the main reasons that the ambitious, though accessible plans for reconstruction have not been met is because of Terrorists.

One water plant in Baghdad has been the source of seven bombings because the Terrorists realize that the more of the necessities that the people get, the worse that they will do in Iraq.

Therefore, an Iraqi Army is desperately needed to assist in the defense of major Utilities, especially power.

6: All of the bases being worked on in Iraq are going to be handed over to Iraqi Forces once Democracy and Freedom are firmly established. Why should we condemn some other nation to a base that we wouldn't use?

7: Leave the Green Zone? The Green Zone is the equivalent of the Washington Mall. The main difference being that and the Washington Mall is that all of the major utilities, defense, and law enforcement facilities in Baghdad are located there.

8: Why would we build an embassy outside of the Green Zone? That would be the equivalent of building an embassy in Arlington, VA. The Green Zone is the center of Government for the Republic of Iraq.

As for building a "Normal Embassy," only Canada has an American Embassy that looks like an ordinary office building. Even the Embassy in France is heavily defended. Hell, the Embassy to Israel looks like a Medieval Castle.

9: Stop paying Blackwater, and who knows what will happen. Currently, most Private Security Forces are hired by Contractors to defend utility sites and convoys of trucks going from one place to another. remove them, and the Infrastructure of Iraq is gone.

10: No real problem here, Land Mines totally suck in my opinion. Just don't get the UN involved. Then we will never get them out of the ground. Oh, and buy lots of Mine Sniffing Rats, they are more capable then dogs, and won't set off the mines.

11: Set up NGO's to do this. No argument that we have some things we need to pay for that have not been paid for yet, but a Government Organization will not get the funds to the people. Instead it will be Bookmarked to death. If you want to get them funds and such, rely on the Conservatives to pay for it. After all, Conservatives across the board give more money to charities than liberals do. I will explain more about that on Monday.

12: We are investing in Iraqi right now. Millions of dollars are being sent to Iraq, being invested in the Dinar and Infrastructure, not to mention that Iraqi Goods are starting to be sold in American Stores. Go to Portal Iraq for more details on the economic boom going on in Iraq.

Just like with number 11, this should be done in the Private Sector because it will be free of the Red Tape that will bog it down in the Governmental Sector. Plus, it won't be earmarked to death this way.

13: The "Ugly" Blast Walls have defended Markets, Infrastructure, Governmental Buildings, and so on. All of which are targets of the Butchers of Iraq.

14: Of course we tried to defend the Oil Wells, they are the corner stones of the Iraqi Economy. Crude Oil makes up 84% of the exports from Iraq.

Now, with time on our side, we can see that maybe we should have taken better care of these sites, but at the time, we were more interested in setting up a stable Democracy in Iraq.

And again, this shoudl be done through the private sector.

15: Once again, I have no arguments, except that it should be privately run.

16: Hey, makes since here, after all, we need to help keep Democracy in Iraq

17: No, no, a thousand times NO! International Organization is nothing but a euphemism for Embezzlement Ring. If we are going to do this, we need to do it through small charity organizations, and through scholarships from the organizations to train these vital peoples.

18: These efforts are already being made. The reason that they are not succeeding is because the people who left are afraid of returning to a Fear Society, and do not wish to leave a free one.

Also, tonight I will be blogging on the major expose that Sean Hannity is going to make regarding a major Prior in the Church of Global Warming. Recently, riots have begun to rock the "People's Republic" following their crackdown on the One-Child policy. According to Reuters, the corrupt agents of the Chinese Government have been going around demanding Protection Money from families with more than the single allowed child.

And it is severely angering the Chinese people.

And, to make things better for all the freedom-lovers trapped within that fear society, the ARMY is turning on the GOVERNMENT!

BEIJING - Up to 1,000 ex-soldiers clashed with police in a riot on a university campus in northeast China, locals and a rights group said today, in the fourth such incident reported this week.

Ha, ha, I am crowing with laughter over this! U.S. air support was used to conclude the raid, after which a major weapons cache was found, the statement said.

Elsewhere in Salah Al-Din province, U.S. forces arrested 12 al-Qaida suspects and destroyed an entire house packed with explosives and weaponry, the report said.
I am currently Ecstatic because of this. That large of a victory is always good news. Especially when you consider that theses people where undermining the successes in Iraq, and making victory harder. Interesting that this is frustrating the Democrats, but that is not part of this blog.

The reason I am so ecstatic si because of something I am currently writing about over on my blog, Arming Liberty. Russia is really going to hell in a Handbasket these days, and it makes me sick. After the long fight to bring freedom to Russia, some arrogant BUN tyen-shung duh ee-DWAY-RO ex director of the KGB has decided to make the nation into his personal playground.

Thankfully, Ronald Reagan doesn't have to watch as the greatest success of his presidency go down in smoke at the hands of a Tyrannical Wannabe.

For those who missed the news, Vladimir Putin, (Sidenote: never trust a guy named Vlad) has dropped the Father Of All Bombs to distract his people from the fact that he has essentially dissolved the government and made himself the permanent leader of the nation.

Well, Russia, my heart goes out to you, and my prayers go out to the Lord. Sadly, he gets none.

We all know of the so-called Bush Doctrine, where-in the government of a nation deals with other nations based on how free the other nation is. In this model, the Free Society uses Economic Pressure to force a Fear Society into becoming a Free one.

Sadly, so-called "Realists" in Foreign Policy have declared that this is not reasonable, and that it will never work. Apparently they slept through the Cold War.

The Realists claim that the Soviet Union was destined to collapse when it did, to which I must reply with a popular Russian phrase among fellow fans of the movie Serenity. Eta Kooram Nah Smech, or, in English, that is for Chickens to laugh at.

If an appeaser like Jimmy Carter had come to power instead of Reagan, then Russia would still be under Soviet Rule. Why? Because the Soviet Union required two things of the United States for the leadership to hold onto their power. The first was a nation on which they could gain trade and technology, and the second is a nation that they can call their enemy while secretly relying upon them. When Reagan began to implement the SDI, or Star Wars, program, he removed both of those things from the Soviets, leading to the beginning of the end, and the shoe of Gorbachev being lodged firmly within his own mouth, and not the American Collective pee-goo.

The only way we can ever have peace on this planet is if the entire world is either A. only democracies and republics, or B. ruled by Jesus Christ. And, since the second seems to be a long time coming, we should strongly push the concept of basing our foreign policy on another nation's domestic policy.

after all, a nation that does not respect the rights of it's citizens will NOT respect the rights of its neighbors.

Welcome fans of the Climate Heretic

Welcome all, this is The Heretic, though I am Patriot Joe here.
